The Peter Hess® therapy singing bowl with its vibrational and sound characteristics has been developed especially for sound-massage. Most important are the specific frequency spectra and vibrational characteristics that resonate with correspondent parts of the body. These singing bowls need to have a harmonious sound without jumps or wild noises (like high-pitched, provocative sounds). The spectrum has to include many overtones and react flexibly. The ideal realization of the parameters important for sound-massage and therapeutic work is a success due to our intensive work with singing bowls and sound-massage, and the application of these experiences in development and production since 1984.
